Employment for workers without a bachelor’s degree that pays above the national annual median wage is available in Northeast Ohio!
In a recent study of opportunity employment in 121 metro areas conducted by the Federal Reserve, Cleveland was ranked number 7. Opportunity employment here is over 30% of total employment.
Those with bachelor’s degrees have an easier time finding jobs that pay well. It’s good news for the more than 2/3 of US adults who don’t have one that there are still plenty of opportunities to earn above average pay.
Among the opportunity occupations are:
- Maintenance and Repair Workers
- Carpenters
- Secretaries and Administrative Assistants
- Construction Laborers
